Our Services

The initial consultation is completed on the phone. During this call we gain knowledge about the senior in need of placement:

  • their current living situation

  • medical and care needs

  • financial limitations

  • lifestyle and social needs

  • geographic preference.

The conversation is generally with the adult-child who is searching for their parents, or directly with the client who is reaching out on their own.

Next is the home visit. This allows us to see the client and their surroundings. At this time we will do a comprehensive assessment which includes:

  • physical care needs

  • cognitive status

  • social and lifestyle preferences

  • financial/budget, medication and chart review

Armed with this knowledge, our Senior Placement Specialists will be able to discuss appropriate Senior Living options with our client and their families. We match our client’s assessment criteria with the potential sites and then we will set up appointments to tour 3-4 appropriate communities and accompany the client and their loved ones on the tour. We provide in-depth facility questionnaires so the client can rank each site. We also provide comprehensive research on each home including the California Department of Social Service survey information.

We define our role as your advocate and consultant in navigating the senior living industry, and finding the most appropriate senior living communities for yourself or your loved ones.   Once a home is selected, we will continue to follow up with the client and their representative throughout the transition from home to the community they have chosen. We will be in constant contact with the Marketing Liaison from community, and can assist our client at lease signing and ensuring they receive the best incentives and deals available.

How Do Senior Placement Services Work?  Once you contact us, we will have an extensive telephone call or a personal face-to-face consultation during which we will discuss the following:

  • Your monthly income and your assets

  • Your living expenses

  • Whether you have long term care insurance which can help you pay for assisted living or personal care

  • Whether you can use your life insurance policy to offset the cost of living in assisted living

  • If you qualify for Aid and Attendance through Veteran's benefits

  • Whether you may require estate planning in order to qualify for Medicaid benefits to offset the cost of assisted living or memory care facilities

  • Assist you in determining what your financial options are.

Start a screening process to ascertain what your priorities are, as well as what needs you have:

  • Required level of care?

  • Do you want a continuum of care or aging in place property?

  • Would you like to be in a small ‘home-like’ setting opposed to a larger campus?

  • What amenities are most important to you within the community?

  • How close do you want to be to your family?

  • Proximity to shopping, banking, cultural arts, and recreation?

  • Are pets allowed?

  • What are the visiting hours?

  • How many meals per day are provided?

  • Do you have guest accommodations?

  • Would you like to have a trial stay in the community?

We take the time to address all of your concerns and questions during the consultation. Our goal is to help seniors in every way that we can. There is no limit to how many senior living facilities we can help you to explore. We will take a look at any and every option that fits your needs. We know that when making a lifestyle change, many factors are considered. We strive for excellence from the first phone call to move-in day.

  • After we have visited all of the senior living communities that you are considering, we will discuss them in great detail. We will help you understand the differences between each facility and which ones will best meet your individual social, physical and financial needs.

  • We will also provide you with the names of companies and services that can assist you with your move and with downsizing your belongings. We have many valuable contacts that can help to keep the transition from becoming overwhelming, such as elder attorneys, estate planning attorneys, realtors, home health agencies, care managers and a multitude of other resources that can guide you through your transition to a senior living facility.

  • Our services aim to help seniors feel less stressed about their futures. We are excited to help you on your new journey!
